Mi Pueblo Authentic Mexican Food

Ate dinner here tonight. Food was excellent, service was excellent. Some of the best Mexican food I have had. Highly recommend.

We recently moved to Spirit Lake, ID and found this GEM of a Mexican Restaurant. The food is great, the atmosphere is very laid back and the staff is very courteous and friendly. It's a great family restaurant with an authentic Mexican feel and taste!

Wonderful food and service. We are from Southern California and were reticent to eat Mexican food in Idaho. We trusted Yelp reviews and were so happy we did. After a week here our Mexican food gauge was on low. We went to the site in Spirit Lake but there are apparently 5 of these restaurants in the area. It is pretty typical Mexican Restaurant decor with booths and tables. The food is California Mex. Style. The flavors came from Serrano peppers, onions and cilantro. All the typical fare of enchiladas,, tacos, burritos etc. You have choice fillings of chicken, ground or shredded beef and cheese. I'm not a fan of Mole' but it is on the menu. They also have pork and steak entrees and a small American menu. Pepsi not Coke products are served. No hard liquor but the wine Margaritas came in 6 flavors. The lime was very good. Typically served on the rocks they will blend for you upon request. The service was excellent. Friendly ,prompt and helpful. For a free dessert they serve what they call sopapillas but are fried corn tortillas with whipped cream, chocolate and strawberry syrup on top. Tasty but not a fry bread sopapilla.

This place never disappoints. We got out from work a little late and neither of us wanted to cook. We headed to Spirit Lake and Mi Pueblo. So glad we did. The rice and beans are outstanding. So good. I had a chicken enchilada that was filled with a ton of chicken. The food is very consistent and the restaurant is always clean.

Best Mexican food in N Idaho. I like that there is 4 locations. All are 5 stars. Our favorite is our hometown one in Spirit Lake

Adorable bright deco, along with great service from Armondo and the rest of the staff. Classic Mexican food, such as Chicken en mole' enchiladas, and many other classics along with yummy rice and beans. Worth the visit when you are in the Spirit Lake area.

Highly recommend! We really enjoy Mi Pueblo restaurant. Walter and Anita are always very friendly and their staff is eager to take care of their customers needs. The food is always fresh and piping hot. You don't have to wait long to have the food delivered to the table.

Wow! Mi Pueblo has awesome Mexican food and great service. We were greeted as soon as we walked in the door and seated at the table we wanted, then ordered as soon as we were ready. Our food came out of the kitchen very quickly and was piping hot. We both ordered the Best Supreme Burrito, one with pork and one with shredded beef. They both had lots of delicious filling and a variety of toppings. Very good!
